Roy Moore accuser’s house burned down in possible arson  The Alabama home of Roy Moore accuser Tina Johnson burned down Tuesday morning, in what is now being investigated as an arson. While neither Johnson, nor her husband or grandson, were home at the house in Gadsen, Alabama, at the time of the fire, neighbors said they saw a young man with a history of public intoxication walking around the house. - Vice

Era of Peak TV Continues With 487 Scripted Shows in 2017  The total number of scripted shows in 2017 hit 487, according to FX’s tabulations, surpassing the previous record of 455 the year before. Since 2012, the number of scripted shows has jumped 69% from 288 programs. - Wall Street Journal

An elderly woman went into the freezing cold to save her husband. They both died.  Wanting to check on her husband, police said, Ada Triebner stepped out of her farmhouse and into the frigid cold, amid temperatures that dropped to about 14 degrees Fahrenheit. She died from exposure to the extreme cold, police said. - Washington Post

If you don’t have coeliac disease, avoiding gluten isn’t health  Researchers followed a group of more than 100,000 people in the US for nearly 30 years and found a gluten-free diet was not associated with a healthier heart. It’s not clear whether this was due to something in the gluten-free foods, or the avoidance of wholegrains, which are considered protective against heart disease. - The Conversation

SpaceX successfully launches secret US government spacecraft in first mission of 2018  SpaceX successfully launched a secret U.S. government payload called Zuma on Sunday and landed its rocket back on Earth, in the company's first mission of 2018. The Zuma spacecraft was attached to one of SpaceX's Falcon 9 rockets. It was launched into orbit from the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. The Falcon 9 successfully landed back to base. - CNBC

Ford to launch diesel truck to grab fuel economy edge  Ford plans this spring to offer a diesel engine version of its best-selling F-150 pickup truck, looking to gain a marketing edge as its main rivals ramp up more efficient pickups of their own. - Reuters
